However, there’s no doubt that the First Ones thrived in the Pact Worlds system at some point, as their actions seeded Aballon and the sun with their robotic creations, anacites, and protocites respectively. Smatterings of First Ones intervention are found throughout the wider cosmos, forming a puzzle only the most dedicated tech priests and researchers attempt to decipher.Last year, the Starfinder Society conducted an archaeological survey of Eternity, an ancient city of the First Ones on the planet Aballon. During this excavation, they uncovered tantalizing clues about the First Ones and clashed with a violent sect of anacites known as Those Who Call, who attempted to destroy the Aballonian capital city of Striving and dispatch a signal meant to draw the First Ones back to the Pact Worlds—an event the Starfinders believe would cause system-wide catastrophe. Although the Starfinders triumphed against Those Who Call, saving the megaplex of Striving and Aballon’s government, they were too late to prevent Those Who Call from dispatching their signal.
